About me:

Hi beautiful people! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. My name is Mel Labrecque (they/them) and I’m the human behind embers’ oracle. I am excited to be offering holistic spiritual services to the collective, and look forward to connecting with you!

Dealing with intense issues around mental health and self worth as a child, I have been on a spiritual healing journey for most of my life. With gratitude to my mentors, guides, comrades, and local and global communities who have been doing the integral work of reclaiming love and true, liberation centered-healing, I feel blessed to have learned so much about the process that is reclaiming our bodies, minds and spirits.

I have been reading tarot and oracle cards for 8 years, and received the highest level of reiki certification in 2021. I have been studying astrology for the past four years, and have found immense wisdom and insights in my studies. I am also an intuitive channeler, and connect to my unique angels and guides to receive specific messages of guidance from the ethereal and earthly realms. Spiritual work has completely changed my life; it has helped me move through my pains and fears, fortified my sense of trust, and inspired me to find true love within my self.

My work is rooted in a liberation oriented praxis, and I firmly stand with all oppressed peoples against colonial and oppressive forces. Spiritual practices with an intersectional lens are crucial to my practice, and I am so grateful to the wise teachers, activists, and communities who have been doing the work for many years, and inspire me towards creating a better world with each breath.

Things I care about: abolitionism, decolonization, anti-racism, disability justice, reparations, housing for all, clean air, water, and food for all, trans and queer rights, immigrant and undocumented peoples’ rights, transformative justice, mutual aid, kindness for humans, animals, and the land, and autonomy for all. Part of how I integrate my philosophy is through offering a pay what you can model for all of my services. All offerings are $0-150 on a sliding scale basis, as I firmly believe that everyone, regardless of economic status, deserves access to holistic spiritual services.
